Hockey Tuesday

Guess who had a chemistry midterm AND a hockey game to get to afterwards?
Not many country girls, but this one got too!

Most stressful day ever.
I'm sure you've all experienced the rash OH-MY-GOSH-I'M-SO-STRESSED-WHAT-DO-I-DO mindset (Or is that just me? Haha). But in all, I'm hoping I did okay, and the hockey game was great.... until the end. It was a pretty intense day, after all, I had a four hour break after my last lecture to study and grab food. This is good and bad for a few reasons.

Pros

1. I actually had a chance to sit down and eat dinner.
2. I had a bit more down time to study.
3. It gives me a chance to make sure I know everything for the midterm exam. 

Cons

1. Anxiety.
2. Studying more makes me nervous since it makes me feel like I don't know anything.
3. Stressing out.
4. Anxiety.
5. Did I mention test anxiety?

 But hey, it comes with the university life, we're all just there for a piece of paper that says we know stuff right? Yay for SUPER expensive pieces of paper!

All and all, it was a very, intense day, and the Leafs still did lose. But it did help me relieve post-exam stress, so hooray for live sporting events! Woot woot!

Tomorrow is St. Patick's Day! So, I wore blue before it ;)
All I can say about the weather right now is that,
BEAUTY. DAY.
My goodness, the weather was amazing! Perfect for a stroll out!
The wind was naturally cruel this day however. And the flow'y skirts were not meant for high winds, if you get my drift. But I'm glad to say no accidents were had! To my knowledge anyways...

Spring skirts and open backs! However, still boot weather so bring it on. I can't even believe how nice it is out though. It's like magical lies are out in the sky and the sun god of Egypt Re is looking awesomely down at all of us ;) Reference to my NMC egypt class last semester yay!

 

 Look at this view! I mean it's so pretty outside weather wise AND the lights are amazing! These long days of sunlight can only increase from here!

Shopping Frenzy

Afternoon everyone!
On Friday, my best friend Kaila came down to Toronto to visit me :D Just sitting around to chill and watch movies and go out for dinner is all you really need sometimes. We were joined by another city pal, Tracy from back home! What are three girls from the 'country' doing here? Hang out, shop and gossip? Probably a good guess if you made one. The following day we went to the nearest downtown mall and did some major shopping before my friend had to go home :(

Of course, we had to stop by some shoe stores to see the boots and accessories. Aldo anyone? Unfortunately, the sales girl was a bit too enthusiastic and it caused some tension. Definitely not a good sell to sell. Serious look guys, Tracy's looking in accessories!

We then stopped by Urban Outfitters to see if there was anything cool we might get. I managed to see these cool trinkets that would make any home feel sweet ;)

 Beer jugs anyone?

Oh yes, you definitely did just see a burger coin purse and moustache bandages. Like a hipster, anything and everything has moustaches on it, possibly even your finger if you accidentally cut yourself.

These are probably my favourite things there, the decorations for your home. Just look at the frames, I mean, awesome right?

Hair wreaaaath, do I pull it off?  Or does Tracy? Or both? Hehe.

All and all it was a great weekend. From just relaxing and gossip to shopping and styling.  Couldn't have asked for a better time with my girls. Even managed to snag a cosmetic bag from Sephora for $5. Tune in for next time!
